Publication of the book titled 'The Secret Pictures of the Eighties'

Rolf Müller, a historian and researcher of the state security photos, published a book entitled “The Secret Pictures of the Eighties” in 2011. In this volume, he examines the activity of the agent “Rolf Jenő” and the lieutenant István Kurta, who took photos of demonstrations in 1989 in Budapest. The book includes some items of the photo collection which is kept in the Historical Archives of the Hungarian State Security (Állambiztonsági Szolgálatok Történeti Levéltára – ÁBTL).
